KAI-HENG LIN ILLUSTRATION

PROFILE
I am a 2D and 3D artist. I use images to tell stories and concept ideas. I always consider about how I would transform my idea be an image. 2D and 3D skills are my valuable asset materials to create my artwork variable.
In 2008 - 2010, I started my first 3D career in CGCG Inc. They gave me an opportunity to join their modelling production department for the TV series, "Angelina". Due to my performance at work, I was chosen to work on the animated "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" TV series.
In 2011, after work in CGCG. I would like to expand on my range of skills, I decided to go to San Francisco Academy of Art University to study illustration and concept art. In the school, my classmates and I developed an Oculus game project. 2D, 3D work was my position in the project. Fortunately, the game was selected by Academy of Art University's Spring Show, and GDC show.
2016 - 2017, an animation studio named "Studio 2" invited me to be an art director for a move named "BARKLEY". Which was selected best animation in Taiwan biggest film festival "Golden Horse Awards" .
2017 - 2020, Worked in XYZ Printing, as an senior concept and modeling designer for 3D print. Created 3D print projects "Birds" in 2018 IMTS show.
2020, working in XSG game now. I am mainly responsible for VFX in After Effects, animation in SPINE, 3D model and texture, render in MAYA, substance painter, blender.
